Architect-led briefs are the work we do most. We come in as a technical collaborator on residential builds — engineering the shell for the block, documenting through your environment, and carrying the build with the same team start to finish.
Built into the architecture, not against it.
Most of our Bass Coast and Bayside builds come to us through a residential architect, early in the design phase. The Lighthouse residence at Inverloch — featured in Home Design and Living — was one of these. So was Glen Alvie in the hinterland and Parkdale on the bay.
We work the pool as part of the build, not parked next to it. The shell is engineered for the block. The coping picks up the home's material family. The water-line sits where the architect specified. The lighting plan coordinates with the home's lighting designer.
Your reputation is on the line as much as ours. We work to that.
WHAT WE BRING TO YOUR BUILD
One accountable builder for the pool work, from first sketch through to handover.
01 · ENGINEERING
Structural concrete shells, engineered for the block.
Every shell engineered for the conditions of the block. Coastal: sandy ground, moving water table, salt-air corrosion. Hinterland: stable ground but wider context. Suburban: tighter sites, complex access. Engineering documented and stamped before construction begins.
02 · DOCUMENTATION
Drawn into your CAD environment.
We document the pool to integrate with your set. Construction details, fall lines, coping junctions, drainage, equipment locations, service routing. Drawings ready for the home builder's set on day one of construction.
03 · APPROVALS
Permits and council carried by us.
VBA registered (DB-L 71949). We carry the pool's planning permits, building permits, and engineering certification through council. One contractor handles the pool's regulatory path; you don't manage it as part of the broader build.
04 · CONSTRUCTION
Same team from first sketch to call-outs years after.
The team that scoped the build pours the shell, lays the tile, commissions the equipment, and comes back years later for service. One point of contact, one schedule, one accountable builder. The pool sits inside the overall program rather than as a parallel project to manage.
